Best for warm water, tea, or spirits. For daily use, we recommend 40-70°C / 104-158°F to protect the natural fibers and extend the life of the gourd.

Rinse the inside gently 2-3 times with warm water. Then fill with warm-hot water for 15-20 minutes, pour it out, and let the gourd air dry naturally before use.

Each piece is made from a real botanical gourd, so small marks, color shifts, and texture differences are part of the character rather than defects.

Beneath the vibrant palette lies a 100% botanical heart. The interior is hand-sealed with food-safe Raw Urushi, a legendary lacquer tree sap that is naturally antibacterial, heat-resistant, and becomes more durable over centuries of use.
